IP65 Rated - Water-resistant and Robust!
The KMH-20 is IP65 rated, the highest rating on the market for an Infrared heater. IP65 means that this heater is "dust-tight and protected against low pressure jets of water from any direction". This means that this heater can be left outside but must be undercover. You can see an example of this in the picture below.
As you can see from this image the heater is outside however it has cover overhead.
Infrared Heating

Great little heater. Gives off a great deal of warmth and the red glow adds to the atmosphere. It makes the garden welcoming on slightly cooler evenings. Installed at a height of 1.8m on our pergola and the heat can be felt across the whole deck (see pic). Build quality is good and the installation was easy. Reasonably priced and arguably better than other well known, more expensive, brands. Only comment would be that a longer cable would be handy and a little cover to pop over when it’s not in use would make it perfect. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars.
Bought 4x patio heaters on delivery bulb was broken on one,contacted castle heaters and they sent a new bulb straight away.all good
The instant heat is excellent, but it’s far too bright in that you can’t really face it.
Awesome heater, really effective.
The only downside is that it is glows quite brightly - I expected a bit less visible light.

Great little heater. Was easy to install. Only issue I had is that I would have preferred the lead to be slightly longer, due to the proximity from the ground. I ended up having to install an external socket box and then wiring through to my internal supply

Order the item shows on the listing with remotes arrived with only battery for the remotes as used open box then told me to pay extra for the remotes and never refunded me for the remotes absolutely cowboys! I’m sure they’ll have there pr team to reply back with a pack of lies! Avoid people please
